“Whoever is pleased with his good deeds, and saddened by his sins, is indeed a believer” ~ Ḥadīth.
Perfection isn’t possible, but we try. And if your good actions cause you to have hope, and your sins cause you sadness, that is a good sign, and it shows you have true faith.

People come and go
You should know by now that people come & go from your life. That’s why it’s important to be rooted with the Almighty that nobody’s absence or presence can disturb your inner peace. Let them walk in or walk out. It doesn’t matter to you. What matters is your solid link with Him!
Mufti Ismail Menk (Twitter)
When people walk away from you let them go. It doesn’t mean they are bad people; it just means that their part in your story is over.

It’s only up from there
Don’t grieve when you fall. The ground is where humility lives. While you’re down humble yourself because it’s only up from there.

Let them go
Not everything that leaves our lives need to be chased. Let it go. The Almighty has decreed some things for you. Others are not meant for you. You may have encountered them for a brief moment. Perhaps there were lessons meant for you. Don’t dwell on what was. Life’s too short!

Brokenness
To be broken at times, is part of the journey to being whole.
Brokenness is often what is needed to shatter our false expectations, and return us to the source of wholesomeness.
It also allows us to recognize a brokenness in others that we otherwise wouldn’t understand.

You will be tested
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient
Quran 2:155
Out of His love, God lets the world hurt you and break you, not because He wants to destroy you, but because He wants to show you your hidden strengths that can only be manifested in the cocoon of trials.
Secrets of Divine Love by A. Helwa
Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: “We believe,” and will not be tested?
Quran 29:2
We are like photographs; our faith is developed in the darkroom of the trials we face.
Secrets of Divine Love by A. Helwa
Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most sorely tested?” He said: “The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A man will be tested in accordance with his level of religious commitment. If his religious commitment is strong, he will be tested more severely, and if his religious commitment is weak, he will be tested in accordance with his religious commitment. Calamity will keep befalling a person until he walks on the earth with no sin on him.”
Hadith – Sahih at-Tirmidhi
Spending your wealth
The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
Quran 2:261
Those who recite God’s Book (and thereby glorify, praise, and exalt God, and declare His absolute Oneness), and establish the Prayer in conformity with its conditions, and spend out of what We have provided for them (in God’s cause and for the needy) secretly and openly, hope for a trade which will never perish.
Quran 35:29
He knows you’re strong
If you knew what Allah is doing for you behind the scene and the blessings He has in store, you would understand why you’re facing the trials and your heart would melt out of love for Him. If your situation seems harder than most, it’s because He knows you’re strong. Trust Allah.

No superiority
The white has no superiority over black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)
Concealing the faults of others
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection.
And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter.
Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His servant so long as he aids his brother.
And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.
No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that sakeenah (tranquility) descends upon them, and mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him.
And whoever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage.
Hadith 36
If one relieves a muslim of his troubles, God will relieve his troubles on the day of resurrection.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)
