What is love?

What is love? Love is when you can’t sleep without having prayed Isha (last prayer), love is when you can’t eat without saying Bismillah (in the name of Allah) first, and love is when you say Alhamdolillah (thanks to Allah) remembering all that Allah has blessed you with. The true love we all long for and strive to find our entire lives can only be found in Him. Learn to love and obey Him first and then you’ll find someone worth loving for His sake. Cause, wallahi (I swear by Allah), if you don’t love Him (how can you not love Him?) there will always be something missing in your life, there will always be sadness in your life. One of the 99 names of Allah is Al-Wadud, meaning ‘The Loving One’. “And he is the Forgiving the Affectionate” – Qur’an [85:14]

Limitless love and mercy

A glimpse of Allah’s limitless mercy is that He sends the right people at the right time with the right words/gestures to remind you that you are not alone, to reinforce that you are not forsaken, to repair your weak faith so that you can resolve your life with hikmah (wisdom) and to restore your complete tawakkol (trust) in Him so that you rely on Him alone.

Blessed are those who are able to pull themselves out of self pity and depression because they eventually realize the intensity of being taken care of by Ar Rahman (The Most Merciful) Himself.
